Screening questions are used to help your team identify applicants who meet your requirements. These questions can help you collect some basic qualification information about applicants prior to conducting an interview. When you post jobs on Culinary Agents, you have the option to add Screening Questions to the application process. Examples include questions related to skills, abilities, job preferences, career goals, aspirations, etc.
Pro-tips:
- To ensure higher rates of application submissions, limit your Screening Questions to as few as possible (i.e., the more questions, the less applicants are like to complete them).
- Avoid asking for Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
Question Format Types:
When creating Screening Questions, you have the option to choose between several styles, they are as follows:
- Single Selection: This format allows you to create a list of responses for the applicant to choose from, only one response can be selected.
- Multiple Selection: This format allows you to create a list of responses for the applicant to choose from, one or multiple response can be selected.
- Free Response: This format allows the applicant to enter their own response.
- Consent: This format allows you to provide a statement for the applicant to agree to by 'checking the box.'
