- Who can sell on Culinary Agents Marketplace?
Anyone with a Culinary Agents user account can sell on Marketplace. If you don’t have an account yet, sign up for free here. - How do I post an item on Culinary Agents Marketplace?
- Log into your Culinary Agents account
- Click on “Marketplace”
- Click “Start Selling” button
- Add information about your item that you would like to share with potential buyers
- Photos & Videos - Provide a visual representation to help the buyer see exactly what you are selling.
- Details - Include key information about your item (e.g., description, brand, condition, price, etc.).
- Seller Information - Select how you wish to be represented when selling your item (i.e., as yourself or under a business name) as well as details about physical location of the item and delivery options. (To sell as a business, “Add a Business” to your account with these easy steps.)
- Preferences - Select how you would like to manage communication with potential buyers (e.g., manage offers on Culinary Agents, send buyers to your website, allow Q&A for your item).
- Additional Audience Targeting - Select a Profession to allow your item to reach a more targeted buying audience.

Basic posting on Culinary Agents Marketplace is and always will be free! - What is the status of my post?
To maintain the quality of the items in the Culinary Agents Marketplace, our team reviews each item before it is posted. To manage this process, we have various posting statuses. Once you’ve submitted your post, you can review the status by clicking on “Selling” to view your posts which will be categorized into one of the following statuses: - Active - your post been approved and it’s live on Culinary Agents Marketplace
- Pending Review - your post was submitted for review, but it has not been reviewed yet
- Not Approved - your post was reviewed, but not approved (for a list of reasons why a post might not have been approved, click here)
- Closed - your post is no longer active
- How long does it take to approve my post?
Posts requested by 1pm EST, Monday - Friday, will be reviewed on the same day. Submissions after 1PM EST will be published by noon the following business day. - Why was my listing not approved?

At this time, you can coordinate payment via offers and messaging to process transactions independently of CulinaryAgents.com. Culinary Agents Marketplace is intended to provide a way for buyers and sellers to connect around goods for sale. Culinary Agents is not responsible for any financial transactions related to the buying/selling of goods nor issues related to the purchase of goods. - Do I need a business to sell?
Selling as a business is optional. We designed this marketplace for industry professionals and businesses alike, so all you need is a Culinary Agents user account to start selling! If you don’t have an account yet, sign up for free here. If you wish to sell as a business, follow these easy steps to “Add a Business” to your account. - Where can I find my post?
For easy access to your post follow these steps:
- Log into your Culinary Agents account
- Click on “Marketplace”
- Click on “Selling”
- What HTML is supported?
While we do not support HTML within the post’s description, you can format your post by using the editing tools (e.g., bold/underline/italicize font, add bullets, indent text, etc.). - How do I edit my posting?
To edit your posts follow these steps:
- Log into your Culinary Agents account
- Click on “Marketplace”
- Click on “Selling”
- Click on “Active”
- Click “Edit” for the corresponding post
- Edit your post
- Click “Save”
- Where can I advertise my services?
Currently Culinary Agents Marketplace is only available for the buying and selling of goods. Rest assured, our team is working hard so that you can start advertising your services as well; updates coming soon! - How do I avoid scams?
Most scams attempts involve one or more of the following:
- Email or text from someone that is not local to your area.
- Vague initial inquiry, e.g. asking about "the item." Poor grammar/spelling.
- Western Union, Money Gram, cashier check, money order, Paypal, Zelle, shipping, escrow service, or a "guarantee."
- Inability or refusal to meet face-to-face to complete the transaction.
Best practices for avoiding scams: - Never accept wire funds (e.g., Western Union)
- Don’t accept cashier/certified checks or money orders - if your bank cashes a fake, you’ll be held responsible
- Transaction are between users only, no third party provides a ‘guarantee’
- Never give out financial information (e.g., bank account, social security, paypal account, etc.)
- What is “phishing”?
Phishing is a type of social engineering attack often used to steal user data, including login credentials and credit card numbers. It occurs when an attacker, masquerading as a trusted entity, dupes a victim into opening an email, instant message, or text message.

- Who can buy on Culinary Agents Marketplace?
Anyone with a Culinary Agents user account is able to message sellers and submit offers to buy on Culinary Agents Marketplace. If you don’t have an account yet,sign up for free here. - How do I save an item I am interested in buying?
If you are interested in an item, but you are not ready to make an offer yet, click on the Save “bookmark” icon to add it to your saved list. To access your saved items, click on <link>Buying</link> at the top of the page. - How can I ask a seller a question?
We make it easy to ask the seller a question, simply click on the listing and go to the “Ask a Question” section. Please note, you will need to be logged into your Culinary Agent user account. If you don’t have an account yet, sign up for free here. - How do I make an offer?
Click on the “Make an Offer” button on the listing. Once an offer is made, you can access the listing anytime by clicking on <link>Buying</link> at the top of the page.. Please note, you will need to be logged into your Culinary Agent user account. If you don’t have an account yet,sign up for free here. - How do I report an item or person for abuse?
If a person you are messaging sounds suspicious or the listing does not adhere to our guidelines you can report the listing here. Please provide as much detail as you can in your report and our team will look into it ASAP. As a community site, we rely on our members to be part of keeping the environment great! - How do I get an item?
If your offer is accepted by the seller, use the messaging system to coordinate pickup or delivery. Our team is working on additional ways to coordinate transactions. - How do I spot and avoid scams?
Best practices for avoiding scams: - If you are not making a transaction via a registered website, do not provide payment to anyone you have not met in-person
