HPH is a New York City restaurant and development company led by restaurateur Peter Poulakakos and his business partner, Paul Lamas. Founded in 2008 to spearhead Poulakakos’ already burgeoning portfolio of restaurants, HPH now manages more than 25 restaurant and nightlife operations. Peter Poulakakos began his career in hospitality in 1998, following in the footsteps of his father, legendary Wall Street restaurateur Harry Poulakakos. He quickly amassed a portfolio of restaurants covering a diverse breadth of genres, including quick service patisseries and pizza shops, full service eateries, and nightlife and cocktail institutions like his most recent venture, The Dead Rabbit Grocery & Grog. All HPH operations are modern, unique, and value driven. Throughout his portfolio’s growth, Poulakakos’ philosophy has stayed true to the ideals that his father instilled in him: to provide the highest quality food and beverages at the best possible perceived value; to serve graciously; and to recognize that the customers’ needs come first and foremost. His adherence to this philosophy has been the key to his restaurants’ exceptional and enduring success over decades in a constantly changing city. HPH is becoming a frontrunner in New York City hospitality, with three major projects currently under construction over the next eighteen to twenty four months.
