Who is Atomic?
Atomic Provisions, LLC is the parent company of Denver’s all-day favorites: Denver Biscuit Company, Fat Sully’s Pizza, Atomic Cowboy and Frozen Gold. Our powerhouse company runs fast-paced, high-volume scratch kitchens with leaders that are passionate about serving ‘simple-perfection’. Our dining rooms feature 3-4 different restaurant concepts, depending on the location. Atomic Cowboy is our bar concept open all day, Denver Biscuit Company serves gourmet biscuit sandwiches and plates for brunch, Fat Sully’s Pizza serves lunch, dinner and late-night eats, and Frozen Gold serves sweet gold delicious ice cream by the cone.
How did we start?
Our journey starts with our founder Drew Shader. As a southern man with a love for football and a passion for food, Drew had the vision early on to make something great that guests would enjoy. His obsession with the culinary arts would propel him to take over Atomic Cowboy Bar in 2004 and soon after develop Atomic’s first late-night concept, Fat Sully’s Pizza. In what began as a humble whiskey and beer bar, Atomic now expanded to become home of 4 powerhouse brands: Denver Biscuit Company, Fat Sully’s Pizza, Atomic Cowboy and Frozen Gold.
Atomic Cowboy
As the brand that started it all, Atomic Cowboy is the roots of our beginning. Originally a dive bar off of Colfax, Atomic Cowboy has become a well-known local favorite in the Denver scene. Slaying everything from our specialty cocktails to cold drafts off the tap, Atomic Cowboy is the boozy beginning to one hell of a story.
Fat Sully's
The hustle of the bar scene left Drew hungry for Atomic to be something more to the Denver scene. His many trips to New York became inspiration for the start of what would soon rock Denver’s late night food scene. In 2008, Fat Sully’s Pizza successfully began operation inside the Atomic Cowboy Bar on Colfax. Serving pizza by the slice to 26 inch mega-pies, Sully’s has become the pizza brand. Today, Fat Sully’s has grown to operate in five of six of our existing locations.
Denver Biscuit Company
What started as just an idea has now set fire to one of the most popular brunch spots in Denver, Colorado Springs and KC. DBC is home of the gourmet biscuit sandwich, stacked a mile high. Each and every biscuit is prepared in house and from scratch. You can tell on the very first bite, we use the freshest ingredients. Don’t believe us? Just ask Guy Fieri.
Frozen Gold
Our sweetest addition to the Atomic Family. Frozen Gold will make you truly scream for ice cream. It started with a glimpse of something incredible followed by a giddy feeling of discovery. We’ve swirled up all the amazing feelings of finding gold into a perfect, decadent, one-of-a-kind experience, setting the “gold standard” for soft serve.
