About
Our portfolio of wineries has grown from our shared interest, enthusisam, and passion for great wines. Each winery has its own winemaking philosophy and dedicated vineyards, yet they share a common pursuit of quality production. The ethos of each brand is unique, but the common thread woven through each, is an unrelenting quest for quality.
Far Niente
Founded in Oakville, California in 1885 and restored in 1979, Far Niente is consistently recognized as a benchmark producer of Napa Valley Chardonnay and Napa Valley, Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon. A dedication to winemaking in its highest form, paired with a focus on house style, vineyard ownership and social responsibility, has established Far Niente as one of the world’s great wine estates.
The building is registered on the national registry.
Dolce
Embraces a deceptively simple philosophy: the pursuit of perfection in the art of late harvest winemaking. Created in 1985, its existence is the result of overcoming remarkable adversity and developing expertise where no one else in the U.S. had it. With a classic blend of late harvest Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc, Dolce is the only North American winery dedicated to producing a single late harvest wine.
Nickel & Nickel
Established in 1997, Nickel & Nickel is devoted exclusively to producing 100 percent varietal, single-vineyard wines that best express the distinctive personality of each vineyard. Based in Oakville, California on the John C. Sullenger vineyard property, Nickel & Nickel is a cutting-edge winery facility housed within a vintage 1880s farmstead. Nickel & Nickel produces single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot and Syrah.
EnRoute
EnRoute was established in the Russian River Valley in 2007. Devoted to producing Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, EnRoute introduced its first wine, “Les Pommiers,” in 2009, and released its inaugural vintage of Russian River Valley Chardonnay, “Brumaire,” in 2014.
Bella Union
Bella Union specializes in the art of blending Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. It was founded in 2012 by the partners of Far Niente and Nickel & Nickel, who, for more than 30 years, have been growing, making and enjoying Napa Valley Cabernet. The winery Estate is opening in late summer of 2024. Bringing a third estate on the storied US HWY 29.
Post & Beam
Every step we take in the cellar is intended to highlight, frame and never mask our superb Napa Valley grapes. With our Chardonnay, foregoing malolactic fermentation preserves our fruit’s natural acidity while careful neutral oak barrel ageing allows us to tease out layers of silky texture. For our Cabernet, it’s all about gentle pressings and an oak program that supports-but doesn’t overwhelm- the pure flavors and expressions of our Napa Valley Cabernet.
