I fell in love with baking when I was fifteen years old. When I first walked into the kitchen as a young teenager, I instantly knew that I wanted to pursue a career in baking and pastry arts. Of course, the first few weeks I spent in the bakery were rocky, but after extensive and intense training, the kitchen is my second home. With the help and influence of my instructors over the past few years, I have learned to appreciate quality ingredients, and that precision and patience and key. I love that baking is disciplined yet creative at the same time. Learning new baking concepts and putting together new flavor combinations is one of the things that inspires me the most. I know that there is still much for me to learn, and I appreciate every learning opportunity that comes my way!
