Our Mission
“To serve as a steward and advocate of the vital relationship between the vast network of small and local farmers, makers, producers, and the wonderfully diverse population of Philadelphia and the surrounding area through responsible and comfortable from-scratch cooking.”

Born in the midst of a worldwide pandemic, Baker and Owner Pat O’Malley decided to shift his focus towards supporting the community of local producers and raising the bar for hospitality workers’ quality of life.

Fitz and Starts is a cafe, bakery, and bottle shop open for daily brunch and dinner services five days a week. Whether you pop in for a morning latte, a drink and a bite at happy hour, or a bottle of wine and a fresh loaf of bread on the way home, we are happy and here for you.
