Located on the corner of 17th Street and Park Avenue South in W New York – Union Square, Irvington offers a Mediterranean-influenced menu of New American classics highlighting fresh, locally-sourced ingredients from the neighboring Union Square Greenmarket. Chef David Nichols’ seasonally-driven menu emphasizes locally-sourced ingredients and simple and straightforward presentations, featuring a variety of large format rotisserie-roasted meats and comforting dishes like Merguez Flatbread with Grilled Red Onion, Roasted Peppers and Ricotta Salata and Bucatini with Chopped Porchetta, Parmesan and Egg. Irvington features a rotating selection of cocktails, modestly priced wine offerings, small-batch spirits, and regionally brewed craft beers. Signature sips include refined twists on classic cocktails like the GG Manhattan, a barrel-aged Old Fashioned, and a Grasshopper, in addition to bottled craft cocktails like the Moscow Mule and Negroni. Irvington also serves fresh cold-pressed juices and handcrafted coffee from local purveyors Liquiteria and Irving Farm Coffee Roasters. Designed by Crème, the 3,200 sq. ft. space draws inspiration from the adjacent farmer’s market, incorporating a warm open kitchen and natural elements of wood and leather, juxtaposed with a modern industrial palette of blackened metal and glass.
