Nick Moers has been head barista and manager at Greogry’s, Jack’s and Tisserie in New York, has trained with both Counter Culture and Stumptown and is a level 1 SCAA roaster and Golden Cup Technician. He has consulted on quality control and technical service for companies such as Forty Weight, Grounded and Wayside and now heads both the Technical Service and Quality Control departments for Devoción Roasters’ U.S. operations. He has a mastery of many aspects of coffee, regularly taking part in SCAA coursework and lectures, hosting latte art competitions in New York and Bogotá and travelling to origin to visit farms and help establish Devoción’s education department.
