Position Overview:
We’re seeking a hospitality-forward Co-Host to join our team. The Co-Host provides a warm welcome to our guests, executes the seating plan, and supports the lead host to ensure a smooth flow of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional and warm hospitality at all times.
- Communicate between bar, kitchen, service team and leadership to ensure a consistent, timely and memorable experience for our guests.
- Welcome guests and guide them to their table.
- Communicate wait times and seating updates with clarity and warmth.
- Support the lead host with pacing, resets, and floor updates.
- Answer phones, book, and confirm reservations.
- Update table status in OpenTable.
- Communicate updates with the service team and Lead Host.
- Communicate special requests and notes with the team clearly.
- Recognize returning guests, maintain accurate guest notes and profiles.
- Anticipate guest needs and address them promptly.
- Maintain a calm, composed demeanor.
- Be ready to speak about our concept.
- Show understanding of our food and beverage offerings.
- Jump in where needed to help the team and the guest experience.
- Keep an eye on the entrance, lounge, and restrooms for cleanliness.
- Complete opening, mid-shift, and closing duties to our standards.
- Perform duties as assigned by leadership in order to drive and maintain our passion for hospitality, quality food and beverage.
- Support fellow team members during service.
- Participate in daily preshift meetings.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills and team player.
- Attentive and detail oriented.
- Prior host experience in a full service restaurant is preferred.
- Experience with OpenTable is a plus.
- Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Job Type: Part-time / Full-time
Compensation: $18.00-$20.00/hr
