Carnitas Uruapan is looking for a passionate general manager ($80K base with $15-$20K in bonus) with a strong sense of ownership and leadership to lead its 3rd location located in the heart of Chicago - Little Village!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead and direct all facets of a restaurant’s business, ensuring effective and efficient operations including but not limited to driving sales; managing costs; growing the business; leading and developing the front of house (FOH), back of house (BOH) teams and reporting directly to ownership.

Organize, run and supervise smooth and efficient daily shifts, ensuring an exceptional guest and employee experience.

Respond with urgency to customer service issues, and employee feedback.

Provide guidance and leadership to employees and team leaders, while fostering our culture of teamwork and excellent customer service.

Partner with ownership to interview, hire, onboard, train, schedule, supervise and develop all FOH and BOH hourly employees.

Prepare timesheets, and approve weekly payroll.

Manage Catering and Event Sales and execution.

Supervise and work staffed catering events as needed (will be paid Bonus Pay+ Tips).

Conduct Yearly Performance Reviews of the management team for FOH and BOH.

Work full Saturday and Sunday shifts, and move between locations (as a backup) as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry trends and guest preferences.
- 6 days per week, 48-55 hours per week.
Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary ($80,000.00 - $100,000.00)
