Two of New York City’s most beloved chefs—so beloved that you don’t need to use their last names for people who care about food in town to know who you are talking about—they're just The Franks—will finally bring their most legendary concept, the modern Italian-American restaurant Frankies Spuntino, to Nashville, the most exciting food scene in the United States.
The “campus” we will create at Frankies Spuntino Nashville is located at Laurel & Pine, a new development with a captive audience of 160 residential units. Many of these people have never experienced a three-hour lunch, when the table
fills with bottles, plates of mind-blowing eggplant marinara, and the best meatballs in America. They don’t know what it feels like to fall in love with Frankies.

How do you put that feeling into words? People have been trying for two decades. In his final review as restaurant critic of the New York Times, Sam Sifton got pretty close: “The best meal I
