La Pecora Bianca opened Lupetto, which means “little wolf” in Italian, a new, wood-fired Italian restaurant set in a sophisticated urban setting on the corner of 25th and Broadway. The restaurant is inspired by the tradition of wood fired hearth cooking in Italy. Lupetto features Neapolitan style pizza from a wood oven, meat and fish from a wood grill, house-made pastas, and an expansive beverage program featuring the premier wine producers from around the world and a lush craft amari cocktail lounge on the cellar level. The restaurant has 175 seats set over two floors, and additional outdoor seating next summer.
