A temple to nostalgia, the Bandit is a low-key, high-vibe staple in Chicago's West Loop. Helmed by Chef Shane Graybeal (Sable, Bin 36), the menu features classic American food but with a playful twist. Customers will find tater tots topped with black caviar; waffle fries drowned with bulgolgi, cheddar, and kimchi; and the giant “Diplomat,” a Slagel Farms beef burger that detaches into smaller sliders and is served with griddled onions and bacon jam.
