Every job I've had as a cook has helped me grow in a different way.

I've cooked throughout my whole life and one day, a chef I was working for said I should make it my career. At that point, I was all in and started focusing on going to culinary school and where I should start my culinary career.
To be successful in our industry, you must be willing to work hard and continually improve yourself. Patience, cleanliness and the dedication to be a part of a team are also really important.
When hiring, I always look for people who work hard and care.
I find inspiration through my travels, reading, and eating.
Working in California under Chef Robert Curry really helped define what it meant to be a leader and to have perspective in the kitchen.
Continuing education is very important to your career growth as a young chef. We like to bring on paid stagiaires in our kitchens to help young chefs get the experience and grow!
