EXPERIENCE
From the first day I walked into the kitchen at Stars, Chef Jeremiah Tower allowed me to have creative freedom on the line and I was in love with the kitchen.
Throughout my career, I have learned to always be myself and follow my heart. It doesn't matter what everyone else is doing, stay true to who you are!
Advice that has stuck with me is to trust my palate and be creative.
I only hire people who are kind and aspire to make a positive difference in the world. We must be aware that we are just visitors on this planet... we need to take care of it and one another.
I don't see chefs as women or men, we are just chefs and we are humans. I am just trying to make a positive difference in the industry.
I am inspired by my little girls, my fiancé, nature, the world around me.
I like to bring my team to new places so they can be curious and get to learn new cultures and flavors. If we are constantly learning, we will be inspired.
