My Name is Joseph Lidgerwood. Over the last 8 years, I have built my career in different restaurants all over the world. I started in Tasmania and travelled to London to pursue my goal as a chef and I was lucky enough to work in prominent restaurants such as Tom Aikens, Kitchen W8 and The Ledbury in London. Through these experiences I gained the insight of what it is like to work in a restaurant with a extremely high standard that can be both physically and mentally demanding as well as the ability to push myself to new levels of efficiency, attention to detail and quality of execution.
My curiosity of experimenting with different ingredient had grown throughout the experience and I found myself being part of the travelling pop up restaurant with 3 other chefs. I have spent the last 9 months working and travelling across the world building pop up restaurants utilising ingredients endemic to that region and showcasing them in unconventional ways.
This time of experimenting, trialing and researching has given me perspective which allowed me to find what I truly want to do and where I want to be.
I am a dedicated and self-driven person with a pragmatic brain who enjoys the problem solving as well as craving to learn and develop myself further. I would love to be considered for a position in your kitchen
