    I was in charge of inventing new pastries for dry and wet display case. I also created custom order cakes for all events. I made artisanal breads upon request. I assisted in restocking the display and helped with prep for the next day.

    At this high production venue I had to work independently but also in a team. All the pastries were made in the main kitchen by a team of 3 others including myself. I would arrive and start plating for people who ordered
    food for the show the minimum would be 100 orders of 5 different desserts. Once finished i would go back in and pack desserts to be sent to the three restaurants attached to the venue. Then the catering order was
    reviewed and carried out before its deadline. Once all that was finished production started for the next day.
    This job requires a lot of flexibility because quantities would sometimes change and desserts would be needed on the fly so you always had to be on your toes.
