I began my hospitality career when I was very young. I started in a fast food setting before moving up to full service restaurants. Watching my mother cook as a child was very powerful and I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a chef. I started out as a dishwasher and slowly moved up the ranks until one day I managed and ran a kitchen of my own. My long-term goal is to eventually open my own establishment that focuses on international street food. For right now, I am continuing my FOH career so that I can be a well-rounded hospitality professional.
