My love and passion for wine began at Cava Winery & Vineyard several years ago. Shortly after I started working at Cava, the winemaker took me aside to try one of his wines from the vineyard. The winemaker taught me the importance of sustainability, supporting local farmers, and through that single act of kindness, showed me the meaning of the “art of hospitality.” From that day on, I was hooked and strategically worked in different types of bars and restaurants. Over the last four and a half years, I have developed a unique perspective through these experiences that I believe have allowed me to prefect different elements of service and hospitality, ultimately enabling me to give clients a better experience. Most recently, I graduated from The International Culinary Center’s Intensive Sommelier Course and achieved my level II certificate as a Sommelier from The Court of Master Sommeliers.
