    Role & Tasks:

    The primary focus of this position was clinical operations support: providing high quality support to clinicians in patient care management, including timely response to phone calls, effective communication to other team members, and multi-tasking of projects and responsibilities.

    This position was the primary contact for many patients, facilitating communication to and with providers. This communication included:

    Providing outstanding customer service by triaging calls from patients and public appropriately to providers, nursing staff and scheduling staff and follow up as appropriate; assisting patients with questions regarding scheduling and services.

    Responsibility for light office maintenance and clerical duties i.e. keeping office areas clean and organized, announcing visitors, signing for deliveries, some copying and word processing, and other jobs as assigned.

    Under the guidance of the program manager, I also contributed to and submitted upwards of $45,000 in successful educational grants securing funding for the Parkinson’s Center annual educational programming including the annual Parkinson's patient symposium, an educational conference for those with young onset Parkinson's disease and the Pacific Northwest Basal Ganglia Coterie, an exclusive educational event for movement disorder specialists in the NW region.

    I am presently still employed with the PCO as a remote contract employee to assist with the upcoming grant cycle.

    Role & Tasks:

    I was one of a team of desk clerks who oversaw the daily operations of Loyly Sauna, a beloved local business with over a decade of providing a sleek and considered day spa experience inspired by the Scandinavian sauna tradition. These daily operations included, but were not limited to:

    General and detail housekeeping duties,
    Booking appointments for clients via the phone and Full Slate
    Attending to any voicemail messages or emailed correspondences
    Selling an assortment of products and gift certificates using Square point of sale system
    Checking clients in and out with accuracy and grace
    Maintaining an inviting and impeccably clean space for clients
    Preparing the daily sales record and deposit at closing

    In addition to these daily duties, I took a role in expanding Loyly’s social media presence, using Instagram and Facebook to highlight monthly promotions, create follower contests and promote special events. My managers and coworkers often remarked on my hard work and attention to detail and with the opening of our second location in March, I took on a more active role in training new hires.
