Role & Tasks:
• Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and workers engaged in food preparation
• Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow UCLA standards and regulations
• Estimate amounts and cost of required supplies, such as food and ingredients
• Check and inspect the quality and temperature of received products
• Prepare and cook food of all types on a regular basis also including special guests and function
• Purchase and Order Food products from multiple companies.
• Instruct cooks and workers in the preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of dishes.
• Training and develop new employees
