I have been in the restaurant and hospitality industry for almost 20 years. Over that time I have been able to succeed at every position I have held, from porter to management, through hard work and my desire to provide exceptional guest service. I love many aspects of the industry, including making every single customers experience unforgettable and memorable. My hobbies include sports, reading and music. I have strong ties to my family and friends. I believe in being honest and respectful in everything I do in life.

Having just moved to Toronto after a stay in Bermuda, I am still searching for a company that wishes to invest in me as much as I wish to invest into a company. To succeed you have to be set up for success. I am a firm believer in proper training from the start. Although we always learn new things everyday, the essential and key components for a position should be taught and given to any employee at the beginning. It all starts with the right tools and knowledge to do your job with the best interest of the guests and fellow coworkers in mind.

I am searching for a career, not just a job.

My Dream Job is To run a restaurant (whether my own or as a general manager) so I can have the input on service, training and overall guest experience.

    I was hired as the bar manager. Although extremely excited, the training was non existent and I was not set up for success - something I truly and firmly believe in. The company is wonderful yet I believe that in order to fully succeed in the restaurant industry you have to give your employees the correct and proper training so they can provide your guests with the best experience possible. I am generally a long term employee and having moved into management that is even more so. But for me to invest in a company the company has to invest in me, as with any relationship and partnership in life.

    I was the lead server and supervisor at the private beach club for the hotel. It was gave me an amazing experience given that it was a five star resort and the level of service taught me new aspects of the industry to add to my skill set.
