This is a second career for me, one that is entirely different and yet quite similar to all my years working on Wall Street. I never had any interest with the financial world other than the paycheck and the atmosphere of the trading pits. I would probably still be there today but my life took a turn when my fiancé passed away. Several years later I said no more to trading and decided to pursue a career in one of my hobbies that I love, cooking. The hours are long, the work is hard, and the pay sucks but I love it. I love to learn new things whether it be techniques or recipes and in this field it is endless. I'm happy once again and will be even happier when I can look into a mirror and honestly see a chef.
