Food Allergy vs. Food Intolerance
A food allergy occurs when the body's immune system wrongly recognizes a protein in a food as harmful. The body then launches protective measures. Food allergies and can be life-threatening. A food intolerance is a digestive problem that results from eating a specific food and are generally not life-threatening.

• Peanuts
• Tree Nuts
• Wheat
• Shellfish
• Fish
• Soy
• Cow's Milk
• Eggs

Food Allergy Symptoms

Reactions can occur anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours after exposure, and may include some of the following:
• Swelling of the tongue, mouth or face
• Difficulty breathing
• Low blood pressure
• Vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Hives
• Itchy rash
