Follow direction and execute the vision of the Executive Chef. Able to follow and discern constructive feedback from management. Willing to learn new techniques, execute standards and procedures. Must be able to read and follow recipes and procedures in food handling, or be able to learn and comprehend recipes, read printed food tickets (chits) in English. Must be able to comply to all Local, State and Federal Health Standards. Line cooks will strive to cook and reproduce menu items to exact standards consistently. You must taste your food consistently for accuracy, using sanitary methods (disposable one use spoons, clean utensils, etc) Position reports directly to the Sous Chef and Executive Chef.
Performance Will be evaluated for performance based on your job description. Standards set by the Executive Chef must be followed. Member and guest experience is always the first priority. A genuine sense of hospitality must always be maintained. Ability to follow and enforce GTC culture and policies as the standard.

Skills & Knowledge
Position requires a minimum of 1+ years of kitchen experience / Club and or Hotel experience is a plus.
Knowledge of culinary fundamentals (knife skills, cooking methods, sanitation) is required or will be taught.
Requires developed communication skills, both verbal and written.
Most tasks are performed independently or in a team environment.
Ability to maintain compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations.
Abilities & Working Conditions
This position will spend 100% of the time standing or walking.
Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length.
Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
May be required to lift trays of food or food items weighing up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
Requires working nights, weekends and holidays.
