Position Summary- Office Manager is responsible in assisting the General Manager and Chef de Cuisine with all day to day aspects of the restaurant administrative tasks. This Includes being an intrical part of the well being of our team by ensuring you are available to assist with People Services, Accounting and be verse within our Hospitality approach to all facets of the operation:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Manages the office area to ensure effective communications (phone, mail, printing) both internally and externally to maintain professional image.
-Daily responsibilities new menu item allergy and information sheets to staff (all in word press format), daily punch edits of staff for both FOH and BOH, daily payroll audits (credit card tips, etc)
-Pre-processes FOH and BOH payroll every two weeks working closely with accounting on processing process, staying within time standards that all is due.
-Onboards all new hire FOH and BOH team members, including both English and Spanish speaking team members, into paycor platform and follows through with other staff member paperwork
-Making sure both paycor and POS have staff correct job codes with rates at all times.
-Making sure every stage has completed stage paperwork and it is saved to file.
-Supervises and coordinates overall restaurant administrative activities, requiring English and Spanish language proficiency, to assist Managers, as well as working to assist One Off Hospitality team in the operations, finance, marketing, and people services departments.
-Orders all office related supplies and materials staying within budget given for both Big Star locations.
-Oversees all staff member serve safe certifications ensuring all team have valid certification onsite.
-Participates as needed in special restaurant projects and is able to help support FOH management and door staff when needed.
-At least one year of previous experience in office management and/or guest relations experience
-Fluent in English and Spanish language.
-Previous management experience preferred
-Knowledge and experience working in hospitality industry
-Possess excellent communication skills with management, staff, and guests.
-Possess excellent planning, time management, organizational skills, and able to multi-task.
-Excellent computer skills, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office. Excel and Point of Sale experience a plus.
