Servers at Fabio Trabocchi Restaurants provide guest-service to the highest quality standard. Primary daily duties include preparing the restaurant dining room for service, graciously and confidently taking, serving, and describing guest orders, maintaining proper cash-handling procedures and anticipating as well as accommodating guest needs throughout service while maintaining constant communication with restaurant team members to ensure service-quality standards are met in order to guarantee guests are treated to memorable hospitality experiences.

Conducts daily dining room inspections.
Sets up assigned dining room section (tables and stations) according to floor plan and layout standards.

Presents and explains menus to guests.
Provides food and beverage recommendations to guests.
Takes food and beverage orders.
Assists in marking tables.
Conducts tableside preparation when applicable.
Serves and announces food and beverage orders to guests.
Keeps track of guest waiting times and dining statuses.
Maintains section cleanliness and organization while on duty.
Checks identification of all guests who appear under the age of 30.
Logs orders onto POS system.
Conducts full wine service.
Clears and re-sets tables when required.
Processes guest payments and correctly follows all cash-handling protocols.
Follows correct cash-handling and reporting procedures.
Assists in counting china, glass, silver and linen.
Conducts all required Opening, Side-Work, Hand-Over and Closing Duties as outlined by Fabio Trabocchi Restaurants and management.
Performs additional tasks at the direction of management.
Consistently maintains Grooming Standards.
Maintains work-area and restaurant cleanliness and organization.
Ensures foods and beverages served meet Fabio Trabocchi Restaurants quality standards.
Reviews, understands and communicates guest-preference data to appropriate persons.
Maintains mastery-level knowledge of all food and beverage menu-items, ingredients and preparation processes.
Consistently able to properly identify and explain food and beverage items and ingredients based on appearance.
Consistently provides food and beverage descriptions as per Fabio Trabocchi Restaurants standards.
Maintains an understanding of the proper steps of service required of all FOH positions.
FINANCIAL & PROFITABILITY
Consistently works to meet or exceed guest check projections and daily restaurant revenue.

Must have at least 3 years of front-of-house operational experience and/or an assistant management position in a comparable establishment.

Must be able to work at a rapid pace and multi-task while maintaining attention to detail.
Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift at least 50 pounds.
