Job Details
 A growing, multi-unit company is seeking an experienced Night Bar Manager for a high-volume Sports Bar/Restaurant.
 
Timothy O’Toole’s is a fast paced sports bar and restaurant. We have 48 beers on tap, 100 bottled and canned beers, two full bars, a full menu that includes appetizers, our famous wings, burgers, sandwiches, salads, ribs, entrees and a weekend brunch menu. We strive to provide the best customer service by hiring a talented, professional, upbeat staff that understands hospitality, loves working in a fast-paced environment and that are outgoing and personable with excellent verbal and written communication skills. As a closing manager/assistant FOH manager you will be responsible for ensuring excellence in guest satisfaction through effective training of staff, maintaining a positive attitude and having a committed approach to doing whatever it takes. We are looking for a person who has a hands-on, lead-by-example management style.
 
Job Responsibilities
• Organization of bar inventory and supplies • Updating beer & bar menus and pricing
• Controlling liquor costs to maximize bar profitability
• Working floor shifts as either a mid or closing manager
• Ensuring excellent customer service
• Assisting in recruitment and training of FOH staff
• Managing staff to foster teamwork
• Maintaining product/service quality standards and initiating corrective action as required
 
Job Qualifications
• Must have at least 2+ years of bar/restaurant management experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required / Associates Degree or Higher Preferred
• Knowledge of Beer, Wine and Alcohol
• Must thrive in a fast paced team environment
• Energetic with a passion for hospitality
• Have sound reasoning and follow-through in decision making process
• Must be motivated and detail oriented with excellent time management skills
• Excellent people management, communication and listening skills
• Must be able to work 45-55 hour work weeks
• Scheduling flexibility including days, nights, weekends and holidays
• Must be Bassett Certified
• Must be Food Handler Certified
