Job Details

New Line Tavern located in the West Loop is looking for a General Manager to lead our customer service focused staff in addition to increasing customer retention and brand awareness.  This person will mange multiple aspects of the business such as day to day operations, cost control, scheduling, purchasing and upholding our customer service standards. The overall goal of this position, is to find a person who can not only maintain what has been put in place, but grow the business financially and expand our customer base. Our company's ethos is to provide exceptional customer service while providing high quality food and drink. This person is expected to become the face of New Line Tavern. Our hope is to find an individual that wants to grow with the company and this position is viewed as a stepping stone to a higher management position.

Required Skills: 

-Understand and enforce our company's procedure and policies 

-Increase customer loyalty and implement service standards for all staff

-Be able to analyze costs and make modifications to increase margins

-Ability to lead and encourage our 20+ staff members to provide the best possible customer service

-Ability to forecast for the future and plan for yearly business cycles

-Ability to provide innovative ideas/concepts to increase business

-Weekly staff scheduling

-Microsoft Office Proficient

-ALOHA POS knowledge

-Pro-active problem solver and able to resolve conflicts as they arise

-Flexible schedule 

Compensation details
