While continuing its legacy of drinks and culture for indsutry, locals and visitors, Tosca has become a top SF dining destination since welcoming Ken Friedman, Chef April Bloomfield and Chef Josh Even to the helm in 2013. Tosca has been recognized by the SF Chronicle as a Top 100 Restaurant for four years running and by Bon Appetit Magazine as a Best New Restaurant. Interested Assistant General Manager candidates must have a solid understanding of the flow of service and a genuine spirit for hospitality. At least 4 years of Management experience in a fine dining/upscale restaurant environment is required.
Our ideal candidate must be organized and optimistic with a desire to lead their team into providing exceptional dining experiences. Knowledge of managerial responsibilities including payroll, cash handling and Reservation and POS operations is necessary. Ability to train floor staff and contribute to SOPs desired. We are looking for an Assistant General Manager who can hit the ground running and is driven to work towards the next step of General Manager.

Dishes are comforting, a reflection of Even's childhood growing up on Long Island in an Italian-American community, and refined through pristine ingredients and execution. Given Tosca’s history as a bar, cocktails are a focus with classic and seasonal offerings, as well as an homage to Tosca's famous house cappuccino, a holdover from Prohibition times made with chocolate, steamed milk and a shot of brandy.
