The Kitchen Chicago is hiring a host.

We are looking for hard working individuals with a passion for food, beverage & hospitality. We place a strong emphasis on the technical aspects of service in order to heighten warmth, hospitality & overall experience.

Chef Johnny Anderes places a strong emphasis on sourcing the highest quality ingredients possible. Our produce comes from local, organic farmers. Our meat is from local and regional ranchers and our seafood is flown in from premium purveyors with which we have long standing relationships on both coasts, such as Sue Buxton of Buxton Boats in Stonington, Maine and Thomas at Northern Lights in Alaska.

The Kitchen is a wine centric restaurant. Our wine program focuses on classic regions from around the world and highlights diversity in a focused 150 selection list. Our beverage program also consists of an extensive craft beer list with an emphasis on local & regional breweries pushing the envelope coupled with classic imports from Belgium, Germany, England & beyond. The cocktail program, much like our food, is focused on using premium ingredients while maintaining balance and seasonality. We host a minimum of 3 education classes per week in all three realms with additional classes offered on food (butchery, pasta, pastry, etc) and service/hospitality.
