 We are accepting Executive Sous Chef applications for PABU+THE RAMEN BAR in San Francisco.

Seeking friendly, knowledgeable, excellence-oriented Executive Sous Chef with a passion for food to join our team at PABU, an izakaya restaurant, in San Francisco's Financial District. We offer extensive training programs, a professional & team-oriented kitchen environment and future opportunities for growth within a dynamic restaurant company.

Executive Sous Chef

Responsible for overseeing sous chefs, line cooks, ordering, inventory, menu development, and expediting and working service. Potential applicants must have superior culinary skills, a refined palate and high standards of excellence. The qualified candidate will be a motivated self-starter with excellent communication, problem resolution and organizational skills. Must be able to mentor, lead and develop junior staff members, work cleanly, efficiently, with respect for quality ingredients and careful attention to preparations.

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years culinary management experience in a fine dining restaurant environment; Minimum 2 years in a lead or managment role 
- Culinary degree prefered 
- Extensive experience in Japanese products & cuisine highly desired 
- Proven success managing food and labor cost
- Strong industry references
