A Rake's Progress, the sister company of James Beard award-winning Woodberry Kitchen, is hiring for Line Cooks for the Line hotel. If you have the following skills, and an interest in elevating the highest quality meats, fish & shellfish, grains and produce the area has to offer to another level, we want to talk to you. 


Our ideal candidate has one to two years of high volume cooking experience and has mastered the basic skills, such as working with a high level of organization, overseeing multiple functions at once, and working with a team. The ideal line cook also demonstrates an appreciation for  handling and working with only locally sourced ingredients. We want someone who is driven and has a creative mindset to assist our Executive Chef in developing a world class restaurant.


While technical skills and experience are wonderful, having an understanding and passion for making a direct impact on the agriculture and restaurant landscape in DC would be highly valued as well.
