Houseman is a neighborhood restaurant located on Greenwich Street below Spring Street in Hudson Square. We’re on a quiet residential block just west of Soho.
Our team values equally: professionalism, humor, efficiency and grace. Fostering positive and easy relationships between front and back of house is a core goal.
Ideal candidates have a couple years of experience on the line in a busy New York City restaurant but we also have positions open for passionate, positive, hard-workers looking for on-the-job training and experience in a professional kitchen. There is room for growth and advancement within the kitchen.
Candidates should meet as many of the following requirements as possible:
- Be a clean and organized worker

- Have very sharp knives
- Have a great palate and a native desire to cook delicious food
- Be a good communicator
