Job Requirements:

  • Our ideal Line Cook Entry Level candidate is a punctual, focused, quick-learner who is comfortable in a kitchen and well-versed in food handling and safety. We are looking for constant cleanliness in the workplace, good communication and follow-through. You like to work in a fast moving environment. You pitch in to help keep the kitchen running smoothly and are a self-starter who will familiarize yourself with our menu and come to work prepared.
  • Highly motivated and organized with the desire to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior professional experience (restaurant fine dining
  • Excellent communication skills and must pay attention to calls in the kitchen
  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects
  • Ability to balance attention to detail with an understanding of overall objectives
  • A Flexible schedule that will allow rotating weekend shifts
  • A true love for food and hospitality as well as familiarity with Wolfgang Puck and our objectives
  • Is comfortable running a station on his own managing his own prep and of 1 possibly 2 others
  • Basic Knowledge and application of meat, fish, poultry fabrication
  • Basic Knowledge and application of pasta, basic doughs
  • Must keep your station organized and clean
  • Make sure station is stocked before and after shift
  • Servsafe Certified being familiar with F.I.F.O
  • Own Knives
  • Able to Stand for 5 plus hours
  • Able to Lift/ Carry 30 plus pounds
