Front of House Staff

Front-of-House Team Members are the face of Cholapink. They welcome guests, guide them through the menu, ensure every order is entered and delivered accurately, and help create an inviting dining experience from arrival through departure.

All FOH team members are cross-trained and rotate among cashier, beverage, food-running, bussing, takeout, and dining-room responsibilities based on the needs of each shift.

• Host/Cashier: Welcome each guest warmly, introduce the Cholapink menu, answer questions, offer thoughtful recommendations, and accurately enter orders, modifications, allergies, and special requests.

• Beverage Station: Prepare and serve house-made nonalcoholic drinks, specialty beverages, beer, wine, and cocktails accurately and consistently according to Cholapink recipes and presentation standards.

• Runner: Verify every completed order against its ticket before delivery, confirm guest names and table numbers, and deliver food promptly with care and hospitality.

• Runner/Busser: Clear and reset tables, maintain a clean and welcoming dining room, anticipate guest needs, and assist with additional items, condiments, or questions.

• Takeout and Pickup: Check every order for accuracy, presentation, packaging, requested modifications, sauces, utensils, and condiments before handing it to a guest or delivery partner.

• Create positive, personal interactions and help every guest feel acknowledged and cared for.

• Take ownership of resolving order errors or guest concerns promptly and respectfully, involving a manager when appropriate.

• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked FOH stations throughout the shift.

• Communicate closely with the kitchen and fellow FOH team members to protect order accuracy and service speed.

• Follow all food-safety, sanitation, alcohol-service, and cash-handling procedures.

• Complete assigned opening, closing, restocking, and cleaning duties.

• Support teammates and work wherever needed to maintain smooth, attentive service.

• A warm, friendly personality and a genuine desire to take care of people.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to getting every order right.

• Clear communication skills and the confidence to guide guests through the menu.

• A team-first attitude and willingness to train and rotate across every FOH station.

• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to remain composed and gracious during busy service periods.

• Interest in Peruvian food and culture is a plus, but not required; training will be provided.

• Ability to stand for a full shift and lift up to 40 pounds.

• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Food Handler’s Certificate and alcohol-service certification—or willingness to obtain them—as required.
