Bakery Manager

The Good Batch Bakery (est. 2010) is seeking experienced and passionate bakery kitchen managers. We're a bakery and wholesale operation based in Brooklyn, NY, producing high-volume pastries and baked goods. Experience with vienoisserie is a bonus. This role works closely with owners to oversee day-to-day production and manage a full kitchen team.

We are seeking experienced kitchen managers looking for their next shop, or strong pastry cooks / leads ready to step up into full ownership of a kitchen.

What you'll do

• Oversee daily kitchen operations: scheduling, prep lists, quality control, and production flow across retail and wholesale
• Solve problems in real time
• Manage inventory and ordering
• Lead, train, and coach a kitchen team
• Participate in production
• Enforce food safety and sanitation standards
• Work closely with ownership on production planning and kitchen-level business decisions

What we offer

• Consistent salaried schedule, approximately 45 hours/week
• Salary range is $70,000 - $80,000, depending on experience
