Bartender

MADE Hotel is looking for an energetic, personable, and hospitality-driven Bartender to join our Lobby Bar and Good Behavior team. Our Lobby Bar is a vibrant gathering place for hotel guests, locals, and visitors, offering a welcoming atmosphere, thoughtful cocktails, and quality food and beverage service.

The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands that great service is about creating memorable experiences—not simply taking orders.

• Provide warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service to all guests.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Have a strong understanding of the menu, cocktails, wine, beer, and other beverage offerings.
• Make thoughtful recommendations based on guests’ preferences.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly while maintaining high service standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and polished dining and bar environment.
• Communicate effectively with bartenders, kitchen staff, hosts, and management.
• Handle guest requests and concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Accurately process payments and follow all cash-handling procedures.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and consistently look for opportunities to exceed expectations.

• Previous service experience in a restaurant, cocktail bar, hotel, or similar hospitality environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge and genuine interest in food and beverage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm, friendly, and professional during busy service.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to support fellow staff.
• Professional appearance and a positive, hospitality-first mindset.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• NYC food handler and/or alcohol-service certifications are a plus, where applicable.
