Overnight Baker’s Assistant – Doughnut Plant
Doughnut Plant, a pioneer in artisanal doughnuts, is seeking Baker’s Assistants to join our passionate and dedicated team. We take pride in crafting high-quality, handmade doughnuts using the finest ingredients, and we are looking for individuals who share our commitment to excellence.
About the Role:
As a Baker’s Assistant, you will support the production team in preparing, shaping, and finishing our signature doughnuts. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on bakery environment and is eager to grow within the company. You will work alongside experienced bakers, learning valuable techniques and contributing to the production of our world-famous doughnuts.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, mixing, and shaping of doughnuts.
- Help with frying, glazing, and finishing doughnuts according to Doughnut Plant’s standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Support the team in measuring ingredients, handling baking equipment, and ensuring consistency in production.
- Follow recipes and production guidelines to maintain the high quality of our doughnuts.
- Assist in packing and preparing orders for retail and wholesale distribution.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a bakery, bread, bagel, or pastry production facility is a plus.
- Passion for baking and an eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Food Handler’s Certificate is a big plus.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Availability for Overnight shifts (flexibility is a plus).

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
