Hogsalt Hospitality's flagship restaurant, Gilt Bar, located at 230 W. Kinzie Street is seeking a Sous Chef to join their team! The restaurant is part of Hogsalt Hospitality, run by Brendan Sodikoff, and includes Au Cheval, Bavette's, Doughnut Vault, Green Street Smoked Meats, High Five Ramen, Maude’s Liquor Bar and 3 Greens Market. The starting salary for this leadership role would be $55k.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is proficient in problem solving. Must believe in quality by consistently upholding defined standards over time. Must have the ability to positively lead others by practicing generosity and hospitality toward teammates and our guests while multi-tasking and prioritizing workloads. Looking for a culinary leader with open availability and at least 2 years experience as a Sous Chef.

Gilt Bar features New American fare designed for sharing. Guests can enjoy a curated menu of seasonally inspired small plates, pastas, seafood and grilled entrees, including the signature Tenderloin steak tartare and ricotta gnocchi along with a cocktail-driven menu of bar classics, including Old Fashioneds, 75’s, Manhattans and Martinis.
