Job Details
Penny is a raw bar and seafood counter located in the East Village of New York City.
Penny's hosts are an integral part of setting the tone and pacing of our hospitality. You will be responsible for cooperating with the management team to maintain and optimize our reservations book, manage an active waitlist of walk-in parties, and coordinate with the front of house team to ensure all guests receive timely attention and the full experience promised. In addition to engaging incoming guests in a warm & appreciative demeanor, hosts are expected to uphold our guidelines with thorough and consistent communication, maintain detailed guest notes, and handle unforeseen challenges with flexibility and resourcefulness. Experience with reservations platforms (particularly Resy) is a plus.
This is a full time or part time position and requires flexible schedule availability.

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($16.00) plus tips
