The Ruin Daily is looking to fill out our opening team! This is a role that will have you doing a little bite of everything. You will be working the bar, serving our guests and doing anything else to make every trip to the Ruin Daily a memorable experience. This is a great way to gain more experience behind bar while still working the floor. Ideal candidates would have a blend of serving and bartender experience.
Responsibilities: You are responsible for the general upkeep and continued operation of all front of house procedures. All Front Of the House staff positions will include duties related to serving, bar backing, and bar tending. All Front of House employees will rotate shifts doing prep, that includes and is not limited to: preparing garnish, batching cocktails and making any syrups, cordials or infusions. All evening/dinner Front Of House employees will rotate between three distinct positions:
Anchor- You are the engine of the bar. Your job is to stay behind the bar and make drinks for the service well as well as any customers sitting in your immediate vicinity.
Skipper- you are responsible for making drinks, but also assisting in maintenance of tables, serving drinks/food and processing payment for the dinning room.
Floater- You are the point people for all service in the dinning room. You will be taking orders, refilling water, bussing tables, running food/drink and processing payment.
All three positions are responsible for making sure the other positions are able to execute their duties appropriately.
