Baroo is a relaxed fine dining, modern Korean restaurant in the Arts District in downtown LA run by husband and wife team, chef Kwang Uh and Mina Park. Baroo was named 2024 Restaurant of the Year by the LA Times, an All-time 38 Most Influential Restaurants in America of the last 20 years by Eater, and Kwang is a finalist this year for the James Beard award for Best Chef: California.
We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented and positive professional who wants to pursue a career in fine dining to join our team as a chef de partie, specifically a PM cook (hours generally Tuesday - Saturday, 2pm-10:30pm). This is a full-time position.

An interest in learning about Korean cuisine and previous fine dining experience are required. Experience at a tasting menu restaurant is a major plus.
CDPs receive $20/hour + a good share of tips + a monthly health insurance stipend and parking.
