Established hospitality group is seeking an experienced and driven operations leader to join our New York City team.
This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with strong restaurant operations experience, a hands-on management style, and a genuine passion for food, service, and guest experience. Experience with Italian cuisine, wine, or European-style hospitality is a plus.
We are looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, leads from the floor, builds strong teams, and is excited by the opportunity to grow within an established and evolving hospitality group.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day restaurant operations, including opening, service, and closing
- Drive exceptional guest experience through active floor presence and hospitality leadership
- Oversee front-of-house operations while partnering closely with kitchen leadership
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop service team members
- Maintain and elevate service standards, systems, and operating procedures
- Identify opportunities to grow revenue, increase guest counts, improve average spend, and drive profitability
- Oversee operational administration, scheduling, maintenance coordination, and general facility standards
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, cleanliness, and regulatory requirements
- Support food and beverage program execution, including service standards, product knowledge, and quality control
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years in a senior restaurant management role (General Manager, AGM, or equivalent)
- Strong food and beverage knowledge; wine knowledge preferred
- Experience in high-volume, fast-paced, hospitality-driven restaurant environments
- Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
- Operationally minded, highly organized, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable with systems, reporting, and administrative responsibilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
- NYC Food Protection Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Familiarity with Italian cuisine or European dining culture is a plus
A competitive compensation package will be offered based on experience.
Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary ($80,000.00 - $95,000.00)
