Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients
- Support food presentation and plating for optimal visual appeal
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service during busy periods
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper knife skills and sanitation procedures
- Assist in catering events or special functions as needed
- Serve food efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or related culinary roles; restaurant or fine dining experience preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
- Experience with menu planning and food industry operations is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Dietary department or dietary aide experience is advantageous but not required
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays as needed
