Leland is seeking a host to work weekends. Located in Brooklyn’s Prospect Heights neighborhood, Leland Eating and Drinking House promotes sustainable handmade cuisine while supporting local farms, creating natural and healthy food without forgoing flavor. We are currently looking for people who have a magnetic personality, who care about hospitality and are passionate about natural food and beverages. We are looking for hosts who will support the front-of-house and back-of-house team. General requirements:
- Motivated, hard-working, enthusiastic, team player
- Strong knowledge and interest in food and beverage
- Passion to reduce waste, recycling and composting
- Availability to work days, nights, and weekends - MUST BE AVAILABLE ON WEEKENDS
- NYC Food Protection Certificate Card Holder a plus
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Sense of humor and positive attitude
- Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation guidelines of NYDOH and
maintain a letter A grade.
