About WINNER
WINNER Hospitality is a Brooklyn-based group of cafes, restaurants, and production kitchens rooted in quality, seasonality, and community. Across our concepts; WINNER Bakery, WINNER in the Park, WINNER Butcher, and Runner-Up, we produce thoughtful, from-scratch food with a focus on craftsmanship and consistency. Our pastry program is central to what we do, from laminated doughs to rustic cakes and plated desserts.
We’re looking for a full-time and a part-time Pastry Cook to join our production team. This role is ideal for someone who is confident in foundational pastry techniques, has lamination experience, and thrives in an early-morning, fast-paced kitchen.
You’ll work closely with our Pastry Chef and team to execute a daily menu of viennoiserie, baked goods, and desserts that are served across all WINNER locations.
What You’ll Do- Produce and bake a range of pastries including croissants, scones, cookies, cakes, and seasonal items
- Assist with lamination, mixing, shaping, proofing, and baking
- Execute daily bakes for morning and afternoon service
- Prepare and tray items for the following day’s production
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and storage protocols (FIFO)
- Communicate inventory needs and support overall kitchen organization
- 1+ year of professional pastry or bakery experience (viennoiserie experience strongly preferred)
- Comfortable working with precision and consistency in a production environment
- Ability to work early morning shifts (typically starting before 9 AM), weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and respect for quality ingredients
- Team-oriented mindset with clear communication skills
- Ability to lift 30 - 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Experience with laminated doughs and high-volume production
- Food Handler Certification
- Spanish language skills
- Part-time shift: Fri, Sat & Sun 7 am - 2:30 pm
- Competitive hourly pay (based on experience): $20 - $23 per hour

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $23.00)
