Baroo is a fine dining Korean restaurant with a beverage program that includes cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, Korean alcohol and wine (with hard liquor expected to come soon). We were named as the LA Times Restaurant of the Year in 2024 and one of Eater's All-Time 38 Most Influential Restaurants in the country, among other accolades.
We are looking for an experienced, proactive, teamwork-focused, warm person to join our team as FULL-TIME SERVER/BARTENDER. This position includes tending the bar and serving guests enjoying our regular tasting menu at the bar.
Starting pay is $18/hour + tips. We have a shift-based tip pool. Benefits include a monthly health insurance stipend, parking benefits and dining discounts. Opening hours are Tuesday-Saturday from 5:30pm.
Qualifications include:
- 2-3 years experience at a fine dining or upscale casual restaurant
- Strong interest in learning about and working with Korean alcohol and Korean ingredients required
- Open availability on Tuesdays to Saturdays required
- Prior tasting menu experience preferred
- Outgoing, sincere and warm personality
- Food handlers and RBS certifications
