The Granola Bar is a fast-growing restaurant group built around elevated comfort food, strong coffee, a vibrant bar offering, and the kind of hospitality that makes guests feel like they’ve found their place. Our newest location on Madison Avenue will open soon, and we are building the team that will make it legendary.
Position Overview
We are looking for Hosts who understand that the guest experience begins the moment someone walks through the door.
This role is for someone who is warm, polished, organized, and able to create a welcoming first impression while helping the dining room move smoothly and thoughtfully.
Responsibilities
· Welcome guests warmly as they arrive and thank them as they leave
· Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating with care and accuracy
· Create a smooth guest flow while supporting table turns and service pace
· Communicate wait times, seating updates, and guest needs clearly
· Handle guest questions, special requests, and concerns with professionalism
· Work closely with servers, managers, and the kitchen team to support smooth service
· Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and front-of-house area
· Assist with dining room support as needed to help create a seamless guest experience
Requirements
· Previous host, hospitality, or guest service experience preferred
· Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
· Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
· Warm, professional presence and strong attention to detail
· Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and move comfortably through guest-facing areas
